All women have access to medical, psychiatric and the Registered Dietician as well as women’s health education. Adequate time in treatment is critical for a positive outcome and treatment effectiveness. Length of stay may vary based on a patient’s specific issues and personal needs.

Both the female and male facilities combined have a total of 200 beds. Residents sleep in twin beds, typically with three people to a room and a shared bathroom. The grounds are large allowing residents plenty of space for walking and exercise as desired.

Those in need of detox are offered a medically monitored program that lasts three to four days. The inpatient program includes 12-step meetings, addiction workshops and group and individual therapy sessions.

Group therapy sessions are offered for an hour to three hours at a time depending on each resident’s needs. With six locations, groups are plentiful and are available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. There is also therapeutic support for those with co-occurring disorders.

The kitchen staff prepares hot meals which include options like eggs and bacon for breakfast and pastas, meats, soups and vegetables for lunch and dinner. Why are outside foods banned in rehab?

You’ll also find that outside food and drinks are banned because many centers maintain a moderate sugar and caffeine environment. Three meals a day, snacks and beverages will be provided to you. If you have special dietary needs, notify your rehab before you’re admitted.

How long do you have to pack items in rehab?

If you arrive at your center and realize you’ve packed something prohibited, don’t worry! Most rehabs will send prohibited items home with the person who brought you to the center. Others will hold your items for 24 hours until someone comes to pick them up. In some cases, your center may store the items for you until you leave.
