Experience Starting Strattera (Atomoxetine) 100mg

I started again with a 2/3 (60mg) dose of the 100mg Strattera to taper myself up. I did this for a few days but after a while I decided this was too slow and that I would take the plunge and just go straight on to the 100mg and suffer the side effects, (this is not recommendable), as it had taken me about 5 months before to build up to this dose.

I just finished three highschool classes at age 30. Started highschool at age 15, dropped out, almost finishing twice, dealing with depression, failure, failed attempts and more in the past 15 years. And now for the first time: I am god damn proud of myself!

I've tried finishing highschool (what is equivalent in Denmark) since I was 15 (in 2005). I was 3 months from finishing the 3 years, when I dropped out because I broke down. It was the worst years of my life at that point. Later (when I was 21) I was retroactively diagnosed with clinical depression from the age of 15.

Being treated like a drug addict in the emergency room bc of my ADHD meds

I want to start off by saying that emergency room doctors shouldn't dismiss anyone's symptoms no matter if they're a drug addict or not, it was just especially infuriating when I was just taking my prescription medication in the exact way my doctors had told me to. TLDR in the bottom!

I fixed my Venmo after a year of putting it off. It only took me 3 minutes

For a year I’ve been using Zelle to pay/request people, which resulted in a ton of wasted time and money. I’d have to have people send money to my friend who could Zelle me because literally no one has Zelle. I’ve told people not to worry about paying me back because I didn’t want to inconvenience them.

I’m still overwhelmed by the fact that when the acid started kicking in I started thinking about bunnies. I was like “there is no way a real animal is that cute”. As if suddenly I could NOT believe bunnies exist (and I’ve had bunnies before). And then I looked up pictures of bunnies and I couldn’t stop crying because they are so so so cute.

the bias on this sub is ridiculous

this is the DRUGS sub but its more like the weed and mdma sub. People are unable to discuss meth as having any recreational value without getting downvoted. A paramedic looking for advice

Okay, so first things first, I don't use drugs or illicit substances and have no interest in doing so. Not from a medical perspective, but from a behavioral and emotional standpoint.

I'm an introverted, (female), early 20's-aged university student. I find it hard to make friends in general.#N#My current friends have mostly given up on drugs and only use alcohol and weed. Both of these drugs aren't that enjoyable to me and I don't trust myself with alcohol.

Finally kicked opioids after 3 years of addiction

I know this only really matters to me but I’ve been free for 5 months and I can only now say I don’t want to return to them. I’m not ruling out that I’ll ever relapse, but recovery is always a step at a time. I’ll just keep making steps. I love you guys.
