The whole concept of Fast N' Loud came from Richard Rawlings ' early childhood memories. Raymond Rawlings, his dad, was always wrenching in the garage and a variety of projects, anything from old cars to motorcycles. His friends would come over and drink and work on projects with him. When Rawlings was 13 years old, one of his dad's friends said "Son, you can buy a $10,000 car all day long for $5,000 if you have it in your pocket." Rawlings took the advice to heart.
