hard work
Rivers Edge is a great learning experience for new nursing but the management on down to most of the staff are very ghetto, and try to use you as much as they can. They don't care about the employees if your not doing any favors for them. lots of clicks as well.
Do not work there
Skip working there. It is a horrible company and the insurance is horrible as well. Poor management, residents do not get treated well at all. I only wish I had never worked there.
Bullies
There were nothing but bullies at rivers edge. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. Administration and my direct supervisor didn't care. Staff are not nice at Rivers Edge.
Things that bothered me alot
The Turn around is pretty fast, which bothered me. Need to give more to the workers. Like raises, and understanding with transportation with non driver.
Good working environment
Recieve assignment, account for staff, and verify narcotic count. I have learned that with proper staffing comes more personal time with residents and safety maintained. The workers the are very easy to manage as most have a good work ethuc. The is no hard part to that place, very easy going.
Fast paced environment
Answering HR questions from employees; benefits administration; managing time off requests and monitoring paid time off for all full and part-time staff. Co-workers are great people and really care about the patients.
