Today was my 1 year anniversary and I celebrated with a 5 mile run and 600 feet of climb, finishing with 33 miles in 8 runs in the last 10 days. Workouts are still a little slower than pre-injury. I wasn't quite sure where I would be at this point, especially with the meniscus damage. But just keep putting in the work and progressing.

I even made varsity and was a starting player. I never went back to playing because i was traumatized and i regret it. The recovery from this surgery was very hard.
