Good for a rehab aid

Most clinics are busy, Quality of care depends on location and manager

I learned a lot as a PT Tech/Clinical Assistant here however that was more due to my PTs and Clinic Managers working with me. The company is straight forward and doesn't care about patients only the business side of PT.

Official response from ATI Physical Therapy

While growing the company is certainly one of our goals, patients always come first and they are at the heart of our work. We appreciate you sharing this feedback, and it will be reviewed by our leadership team.

Depends on the management

Easy to learn. Rewarding from patients. The job is easy if you are emphatic and in good shape. Must be friendly, but professional. I really did enjoy working in this environment.

Worst company I have ever worked for

My work environment was extremely hostile and negative. PT’s talked bad about me behind my back, and quite a few patients. I was micro managed by the director and PT’s, and overloaded with work. PT’s would have 3 patients an hour, and would be one on one with a patient.

Experience varies on location

I have enjoyed my time working as a rehab technician because I have created great relationships with patients and I have gained a lot of experience for physical therapy school, and eventually working as a physical therapist.

Not very employee friendly

While many good people work for the company, it is a company that has steadily grown less focused on employee and patient satisfaction and more focused on its profits and eventual IPO.

Positive work environment but low paying

Working at ATI you have a very positive work family to lean on and trust. I enjoyed going to work everyday, however the pay and hours were the negatives
