Supervisor showed favoritism. Also, treated patients like they are uneducated during treatments. She talked to staff with no respect. For example, when something goes wrong in the gym. She will blame it on you pointing her fingers. Supervisor sat in her office most of the time and when staff needed interpersonal advice she chooses one side.

Too bad
Management Sucks. Stay out. No compassion for its employees. They just believe in beautifying the building. Pay is so bad. Nurse patient ratio is not good. Poor staffing

Intially this was my dream job or one of the greater establishment, I worked for. However the staff in my position did not make it the most welcoming majority of the time. Just minute management, alot of stress,even though I was joyous because I love people, especially the patients.
Poor management
Administration is so poor I have never worked at a facility that is so unorganized your schedule is constantly being changed they force you to work on days that you can't work due to them being short staff they give you ultimatums between working for them and working at another job you may have.
Wonderful place to work!
I loved working at Burke during my residency years. The location was amazing. White Plains is a very nice down and it’s only a short drive from NYC. You get to meet wonderful people both at work as well as outside of work!
great learning environment
Awesome learning environment for new grads! They really emphasize continuing education, and mentorship maximizing employee skills. Everyone is a team player, and willing to help and answer questions when needed.
Overwhelming Nurse to patient ratio
Ratio can be overwhelming. They want you to provide good patient care when you have 7-8 patients and some of those patients are not appropriate for the facility. Best part of the job are my coworkers.
Beyond stressful for the worse possible pay
Working at Burke has opened my eyes to what I am really worth. Slavery and highway robber are the words that come to mind when explaining the pay rate
