Our wildlife center in Venice, FL started as a backyard project, seeing about 315 animals per year. In 2020, we had a record year and we cared for over 6,000 animals!

To protect and preserve Southwest Florida’s native wildlife through educational outreach and to rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and return them to their natural habitat when healed.
Releasing Animals
We believe they should stay afraid of humans as they would be in the wild to maximize their ability to adapt once they’ve been rehabilitated. However, if for any reason the animal can’t be released, we’ll try to place them in a nature center or zoo to protect them.
