Inside the Rehab Gym
The therapy department has access to a state-of-the art aquatic and wellness center, which is great for their therapists who utilize the pool as their therapy modality. Their therapy gym is very large and spacious, with three small private offices, and enough room for both their inpatient and outpatient services.

Jay is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Monroe Village and Village Point. With 18 years’ experience in the senior living industry, he served as Executive Director at Meadow Lakes, leading the team through capital improvements totaling more than $20 million to enhance amenities and infrastructure campuswide.
LuAnn DellaPietro, RN-BC, BSN, LNHA
Ms. DellaPietro is responsible for the day-to-day operations at Village Point including licensed Administrator of Record. She will continue the tradition of excellent clinical outcomes and exceptional customer service at Village Point.

Dr. Nanavati is committed to a patient-centered approach to care. With 40 years of experience in the medical field, he has a private medical practice specializing in geriatrics and internal medicine. His services are exclusive to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, house calls, and hospitals.
Saswati Chakraborty, CSW, MBA, CDP
Ms. Chakraborty has 22 years of experience in the healthcare industry and 15 years of experience in the marketing business development and admissions process for several major companies.
Jessica Mennella, MA, CCP-SLP
Ms. Mennella has extensive experience in areas of speech, language, and hearing disorders; mechanisms including apraxia, dysarthria, articulation, auditory processing, cognitive-linguistic skills, and executive functioning; aphasia therapy; and dysphasia management.
Tara Callahan-Rodriguez
Ms. Callahan-Rodriguez is responsible for managing the daily nursing operations of the Rehabilitation and Healthcare neighborhoods. She has served both communities, Monroe Village and Village Point for over ten years. An LPN in our Healthcare Clinic, she steadily advanced her education by obtaining her RN licensure.

Eugene Scioscia, Jr., MD, is been Allegheny Health Network’s Chief Experience Officer. Dr. Scioscia has been a part of AHN and its family of hospitals for nearly 30 years, working in leadership roles at both Allegheny General Hospital, where he served as chairman and residency training program director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and West Penn Hospital, where he is past president of the medical staff. When will nursing homes open in New York?
As stated by the New York State Department of Health in its July 10, 2020 Health Advisory, limited visitation in nursing homes may begin as of July 15, 2020 if the Facility meets all criteria. The earliest possible date the Facility will meet the criteria is 3/8/21 to allow us to open for limited visitation.
