After Pickles ' high-tech drum set goes haywire, he is spun out of control and, in turn, causes billions of dollars in damage to the surrounding area. When it is found that Pickles was drunk, he is sent to rehab. While he is there the band replaces him with a robot that later, after becoming sentient, threatens to murder everyone in the band. In the end, Pickles is able to rescue his bandmates and return to his lifestyle of excessive drinking.

Every episode of this season was 22 minutes long, as opposed to the 11 minute episodes from season one and two. Show creator Brendon Small wanted to use this extra air time to focus on character development and giving several main characters an episode dedicated to them.

In an effort to make friends, Toki goes to Rockaroonie Fantasy Camp - a weekend getaway to rub elbows with rock and roll royalty (but he attends as a camper.) Instead of meeting friends, he is bullied by other campers and has no one to turn to but celebrity counselor, Magnus Hammersmith; ex-Dethklok guitarist with a troubled past.
