What is Gorski's treatment plan?

Our men’s treatment plan includes individual and group counseling, personal and social adjustment goals, and includes Gorski's Relapse Prevention Training. Clients in the residential program are assisted in obtaining adequate housing upon program completion. ADACCV treatment programs actively encourage family participation and involvement in the client's treatment and recovery process.

Does ADACCV accept Medicaid?

Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Some persons may qualify for State of Texas funding and we accept Medicaid. However, if persons do not qualify for state funded treatment or do not have Medicaid benefits, ADACCV offers a "self-pay" program.

Can you release information about a client?

No information will be released about clients unless the client has signed a release of information for that person or entity. Each facility functions with additional rules and regulations in order to maintain structure, stability and efficient operation of the programs.

How many beds does Journey Utah have?

Journey Utah is comprised of two facilities. The main 16-bed Journey facility is a chalet-style residence that once served as a luxury bed and breakfast, while the eight-bed Creekside facility is a condo-styled residence with mountain views. The forested grounds of the upscale Journey facility features beautifully-maintained landscaping, streams, lush gardens, koi ponds, and plenty of walking trails. Both facilities feature well-furnished common areas with fireplaces and a gourmet kitchen. Images on the facility’s website indicated spacious double-occupancy or private bedrooms with luxury, ensuite bathrooms.

What is Journey Rehab?

It is the policy of Journey Rehab to provide a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation upon admission to the program. The purpose of the psychiatric evaluation is to identify the individual’s reasons for seeking services, to clarify needs and preferences, and to identify conditions that shall constitute the use of medication.

Where does CI occur?

CI is a face-to-face intervention and can occur in a variety of locations, including an emergency room or clinic setting, in addition to other community locations where the person lives, works, attends school and/or socializes.

What is family therapy?

Parent/Family Intervention (Counseling) is a therapeutic intervention involving the recipient and one or more of his/her family members. The primary goal of the service is to help the recipient and family improve their overall functioning in the home, school, work and community settings.

What is CPST intervention?

CPST is a face-to-face intervention with the individual present; however, family or other collaterals may also be involved. Most contacts occur in community locations where the person lives, works, attends school and/or socializes.

What is a PSR?

Psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) services are designed to assist the individual with compensating for or eliminating functional deficits and interpersonal and/or environmental barriers associated with their mental illness. Activities included must be intended to achieve the identified goals or objectives as set forth in the individual’s individualized treatment plan. The intent of PSR is to restore the fullest possible integration of the individual as an active and productive member of his or her family, community and/or culture with the least amount of ongoing professional intervention. PSR is a face-to-face intervention with the individual present. Services may be provided individually or in a group setting. Most contacts occur in community locations where the person lives, works, attends school and/or socializes.

What is peer support?

Peer support specialists assist in finding your recovery collateral and how utilize those strengths as you progress through treatment. They are also instrumental in connecting you to meetings, discussing the challenges of living a balanced recovery, and facilitating medication assisted recovery meetings to provide a peer-driven support system.

How long has Journey Recovery Center been accredited?

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Internationa l announced our Journey Recovery Center has received a Three-Year Accredited for its Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.

What is lift up project?

Our Lift Up project is designed to assist individuals on their recovery journey by connecting them to resources that support well-being and productivity. Employment readiness is a large part of a successful recovery pathway. Our staff will assess each individual’s hope for the future and help them navigate pathways to reach their life goals. Working with our community partners at Life Learning Center or KY Career Center, our staff will help each person in gaining the life skills or education needed to enhance their employability and achieve their life goals. In the process, other challenges such as legal issues that may interfere with employability will also be addressed.

What is the Hazelden COR-12 model?

Utilizing guidance from the Hazelden COR-12 Model, our medical providers can discuss Medication Assisted Treatment options which include Suboxone, Sublocade, and/or Vivitrol. We will also work with you to develop a wean-down plan to live life opioid-free.
