Detox lasts between seven and 14 days. Residents eat meals within the unit prepared by the kitchen staff until they move into the residential program, after which they eat in the cafeteria with everyone else. Greenbriar’s residential program lasts anywhere from 14 to 28 days, depending on the initial assessment.

For vegetarians, there’s a salad bar provided with every lunch and dinner— snacks are also available throughout the day after these meals. Residents are responsible for keeping their rooms tidy and for doing their own laundry (Greenbriar provides coin-operated laundry machines and soap for clients to use).
