Productive busy work place

I enjoyed by job. Loved going out of my way for the residents. The staff work together as a team. They care about their residents and give the best possible care.

All my coworkers are wonderful team players

Working at Heartland Rehab has giving me a great opportunity to use my skills as a PTA. I typically have a patient caseload of 6 to 8 patients per day. Also, assume to position (as needed) as the D.O.R, six to 8 weeks at a time. Attending morning meetings,MDS, care conferences and end of month reports.

Outpatient, aqua therapy and vestibular rehab

There are many different treatments offered at this facility including aqua therapy and vestibular treatment. Also treats many orthopedic conditions with great manual therapy techniques.

My time there

The time I worked here was good. Great staff, good enviroment, and great residents. I worked on my days off, and was willing to pick up extra shifts if asked.

Great Boss, Average company

Little to no room to move up in the company. Company is very cheap with hiring appears to always take the cheaper option over the experienced veteran.

nice place to work

Great place to work. Clean always have supplies never work short. Great nurses good patients nice food new build. long breaks good team work. Nice boss

productive work environment

5 star co workers and face pace environment and the company does a great deal of estim diatheremy and ultrasound to get the patient home faster without pain and more independent.

Good place to work

I really loved this job. There was little to no drama going on, the kitchen manager was a great lady who was very nice and helpful, and I would have stayed if I hadn’t of had to move. I’ve worked at several nursing homes and hospitals and this was by far my favorite

Good

My typical day starts with goin into work doing the following; rounds when you arrive, vital, showers, start getting residents up for smoke breaks, suppers, activities and more. Overall this a good facility to start off at and to get certified with.

Cons

The 16 hours shift became to much and the mandate system didnt work well.

Nice hardworking co-workers

Although some of my co-workers don't try sometimes, I still enjoy being around them and helping them with their work. I get paid a decent amount, and I love taking care of my residents and being their light when they don't have anyone.

Where the Residents Rock!

The residents were awesome. The staff were lazy and always taking smoke breaks though, no one normally like you to ask for assistance. Management were more concerned with helping employees who had been there 5+ years.

It was stressful

I had a good time being there, but then it started to get very stressful.
