I would just go talk to the nearest veterans affairs office. The G.I bill is a hard one cause it pays out monthly. And thats about how long the average school is.I would look into the workforce investment act. They pay up to 5k for schooling, and thats how I got my school paid for.The local veterans affairs office should be able to point you in the right directions to get a school paid for on the government..The best part is,you will never have to pay it back..as far as drivin, you have to do it to see if its for you.You have a 50/50 shot with it lol..There is plenty of driving options out there...

You may want to check in on the Vocational Rehab through VA. I am doing so, and if you qualify, they will pay pretty much everything. School, books, license, and pay you a subsistence allowance as well.

I just finished an Associates Degree in December. It was a good decision for me. Voc Rehab paid for tuition, monthly allowance, books, supplies, laptop, and the software I needed (student versions). I wouldn't use my Voc Rehab for a driving school, if they even offer that. I would use it for a degree, even a general studies degree.
