Why is knowing the law important?
Knowing the law first will help you understand what facts in your background are important to bring up. Otherwise, you run the risk of dumping your entire life story on a person who only has 10 minutes to review the case. If your facts do not line up with the law, then you will likely get denied.

PLEASE EXPLAIN VOC REHAB
Can someone please explain to me in simpleton terms VOC REHAB? I've read the above post and I'm just not getting it. Do you get paid to go to school? I know your schooling is paid for along with books etc. But do you get money on top of that or do you still have to work while attending school.

KIM that different voc rehab regional offices do things a little different. Yes, the regs say that VRE will buy you a computer, but in some jurisdictions your counselor or VRE above him or her will give you grief for it.

I am going to start using my Voc Rehab this fall. I've already completed one semester so that makes things quite a bit easier.
