Awesome benefits, some great locations but very picky and unhelpful upper management

The company as a whole has good benefits, not so good pay, many locations to work from, and many good employees. That being said, you are not at all secure in your position or location.

Fun workplace

I was the weekend manager for 3 years for the company. I truly enjoyed everyone I worked with from the rehab directors to my direct supervisor and co worker. The CEO would write a handwritten card sent to my home for my birthday and anniversary each year. I felt appreciated and supported by the company.

Bad company

they offer no flexibility with scheduling and treat parents horrible. Pay is below average and benefits are awful!! Profit is their focus...they don't care about services provided to the patients or the employees

I Love working for Centrex Rehab

Asa PRN therapist, I find great organization, helpful co-workers and great communication with our business office, management and fun co-workers. I love they try to accommodate working closest to your home and in familiar sites.

Look elsewhere

This company has been about making money at the expense of its therapists since Day One. Poor compensation, inconsistent policies and too many managers. Great co-workers who do their best to provide optimal care in a frustrating environment.

Wishy washy management and a work culture based on fear of termination

recent (as of Oct 2019) mass lay offs, pay cuts, refusal to give cost of living pay raises, cuts in holidays off, increase in insurance costs and an unrealistic increase in expected work productivity makes this company an unethical and fear based place to work. looking for another job right now.

This company has more cons than pros to even list

Centrex Rehab has a huge turn over and seems to target new graduates to employ. This company has it's pros but demonstrates more cons than the average contract therapy company.

Run!

If you are looking for a rehab company that flaunts their affiliation with a non-profit company while being FOR PROFIT themselves, this is the company for you. I started in 2018 and have seen a great degradation in the company’s integrity since.

Getting worse

Since joining Centrex, I have seen annual retention bonuses be discontinued, have been told my base pay rate is now fixed and capped (been with company for less than 3 years) so no more raises, and have seen my original weekend bonus get cut in half in order for them to maintain a “financially sustainable” program.

Difficult and stressful place to wotk

This company has little consideration for their employees; the focus is on productivity, documenting in a scripted manner and being denied time off.

What is Centrex phone?

A turnkey solution for businesses, Centrex eliminates the need for any significant initial investment thanks to outsourcing. No specific equipment needs to be installed on the client premises other than softphones (phones connected to IT network). The process is as simple as setting up a traditional phone line. Physical space can also be saved, with the terminal located on the operator's premises rather than the client's.

What is a PBX?

The Private Branch eXchange (PBX), or Private Automatic Branch eXchange (PABX) is hosted on a company's premises. It receives and transmits calls via the company's telecommunications network - which is separate from its computer network - just like a classic switchboard. Unlike its antiquated predecessor, however, ...

Is Centrex more expensive than PBX?

While setting up a Centrex system is more economical than a PBX/PABX or IP PBX, it still requires clients to be adequately equipped in order to take advantage of its features. If your company needs a large number of lines, it may be more affordable to purchase materials and set them up in-house.

What is the most important aspect of a company?

One of the most vital aspects of creating and running a company is telecommunications. Depending on your sector, size, and the number of clients and leads your staff is in contact with on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, your phone system and IT needs can vary greatly. But between the plethora of solutions to choose from, the subtle differences among them and the increasing number of technical terms to master, the decision-making process can be daunting. This article is intended to illuminate the complexities of today's many phone system solutions by explaining the following:

How does IP PBX work?

It works through IP phones connected to the same network as company computers and, through the PBX, provides access to the IP telephony operator's network. The IP PBX is therefore the next stage in the evolution of the traditional PBX toward IP. In addition to supporting traditional PBX features, the IP PBX allows companies to:

Why is it important to have a high speed internet connection?

To fully benefit from the advantages of a centralised IP phone system, it is essential to have a superior high-speed Internet connection to achieve optimal voice and data communications with minimal service interruption. The company's local network must be enabled to support IP telephony.
