Overworked, understaffed, rude management. Not enough material for proper resident care. A great deal of pressure wounds. Staff has no moral. A lot of the staff is unaware of what is needed for each resident to ensure all their care is being properly met.
Terrible
It was absolutely terrible in the facility. Administrative staff changed constantly. There was no communication between departments. They provided terrible care to residents. I would never refer anyone to work or live there.
Awful personnel, suffering residents
Pay scale is weak at best. McDonald's pays more. Resident care is lacking. Employees are catty. Job requirements cannot feasibly be met. Then you're accused of not doing your job. Frequently asked to do duties that were never a part of your agreed upon responsibilities.
Nice place
Overall nice place to work. Pays minimum wage so could do with better pay rates. Most of the other workers are quite nice and fun to work with and around.
This place has really changed
I’ve been working at cardinal for a few years now and it’s definitely had its ups and downs, I have definitely seen a change in this company in the last few months and it’s looking up from staff to dietary and the management. If you are a good worker and care about your residents then this is the place for you!
Great family oriented workplace
Cardinal woods is the only facility that I have worked where I have felt “home” yes every job can get stressful at times but let’s face it..that’s normal,the new administration team has helped that stay in effect as for a short time it seemed that “home” feeling was fading away.
Productive, flexible schedule, supportive staff
The staff really care about thier residents at times I know it can be challenging, but everyone sticks together and pulls through. And is always working hard its been a great experience as we all have become family.
