Caring, kind Healthcare professionals working together for patient functional outcomes

A caring group of professionals whom demonstrate their knowledge, ethics and treatment skills on a daily basis. One to one treatments with patients who appreciate you and your skills. An opportunity to see progress with the patients on a daily basis.

Poor management

Productivity based on middle management bonus structure. Pressure to compromise care and ethics. Management was poor during Covid, PPE withheld, infectious disease nurse denied aerosol and that therapy was at risk. Entire therapy team left for better positions.

Chaotic most of the time

They were adding home health at assisted and Independent senior living centers in addition to LTC/SNF facilities. Management had no clue on home health rules. All "management" was lacking due to poor communication skills, out for self attitudes, and cliques. No respect for clinicians who actually bring something to the organization.

My team was supportive, but the entire company is more revenue based than patient oriented

I enjoyed being an integral part of returning patient's to their prior levels of function and seeing them accomplish their goals. However, the productivity expectations can be excessive, and the therapists don't have as much autonomy as they should in regards to being able to conclude the patient's care when appropriate.

Good team, but poor management beyond the facility

My DOR and fellow therapists were great to work with. However, the company itself only cares about money and employees are just a number. Unrealistic productivity standards and pushing groups to cut down on therapists' hours. With COVID, they cut everyone's salaries by 10%.

Management needs more emotional intelligence training

Managers chosen tend to have a bit of tunnel vision. Tension between management and employees was pretty evident during my employment there . Higher ups at the time denied any evidence of misbehavior by local management, unfortunately lead to a lot of distrust between employees and management.

Great coworkers

Pay was not the best with limited opportunities for advancement. No bonuses or yearly raises. My location was nice to work with, patients was enjoyable. Limited learning opportunities as well.
