My flag is at half-mast today. My good friend Jack Ferris died a year ago today. Jack was a WWII B24 Navigator. We joined together for breakfast monthly with other Warbirds - air combat experience. Warbirds was started in Astoria, OR at the end of WWII. Jack was a gentleman of the old school and a good and true friend.
