Depression sucks

Right now I'm really feeling terrible. Like literal shit. I left my ex 2 months ago because she didn't want to get married after 9 yrs knowing that's what I wanted 4 yrs prior. I moved back home but feel so alone right now. Old friends have their own lives and family while I'm laying in bed with no one. I can't stand my family very much either.

I feel like such a fool

So I got help from a VSO a few months ago filing a claim, and she seemingly added in all of these extra claims that I thought were complete BS.

If you have a VA home loan look into an IRRRL, it can save you some serious money

We have a VA loan at 3.75 percent. I made some calls and found a lender that is big into IRRRL (interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan) VA loans. No appraisal needed, very little paperwork needed and my rate is dropping from 3.75% to a jaw dropping 2.375%.

The Depression I've Been Putting Off Hit Hard This Morning

With all of the election drama, I am back to awake all night and not being able to eat. At 52 you'd think I would have this covered and I thought I did. I made the mistake of getting on social media and am regretting it. What I read is so many bumper sticker slogans with nothing to back them up.

I brought all my guys home. From Afghanistan and Iraq. I count myself lucky as far as leadership goes, because it was due to them, not me. But then, suicide. PFC Thomas Abeyta was the youngest member of my squad. Smart kid, good person, I thought of all of us he would be ok, but he killed himself after leaving the military.
