Who Is Eligible?
Every potential participant undergoes a comprehensive intake interview to ensure the ARC program is the best possible match for them. If the interview process determines it’s not, we’ll make every effort to refer them to a program that will be.
How long is the blackout period for a new client?
There is a mandatory 30-day blackout period for all new clients. Some clients are required to do 45 days, but this is rare. During this time clients can only send and receive mail. No other contact with persons outside of the program is permitted.
Do you have to be a Christian to attend a recovery program?
However, one does NOT have to be a Christian to enter the program nor is one required to become Christian to complete the program. Many religious activities are required, and all clients must respectfully attend. We do, however, believe that the best recovery happens in a relationship with Jesus.

The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers are 180-day residential work-therapy programs providing spiritual, social, and emotional assistance to those who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.
