This company has great communication between employees and managers they take care giving very seriously and give the best quality of care that they can.

Horrible

Daybreak ventures owns this company . Horrible for compensation. Every man for himself . Dirty and can’t keep staff due to high risk environment. Sad that people have no choice but to live and/ or work here . Most only work there because they couldn’t get away with the stuff they get away with otherwise .

Great place to work

Working at Keeneland there was great communication between the AIDS the nurses housekeeping and administration. Everyone helped each other and made it fun to work there.

Friendly staff and residents

Keeneland is about like any other long term care facility it has good and bad. I love the residents and the fact that it is a small facility makes it a bit easier to deal with and spend time with residents.

Horrible DON

Loved the residents and may of the staff members. Worked there for years. DON and ADON are very horrible people. Verbally abusive to staff. Calling staff stupid. They ran off many wonderful people due to horrible management. Administrator was wonderful.

I felt sorry for the residents there

AED was broken for weeks, broken pipes were leaking in residents rooms and puddles of water and tools were left on the floor for days at a time, aides were putting two diapers on incontinent residents so they didn’t have to change them as often, false documentation happened frequently, nurses were not giving residents some medications or doing some treatments but still documenting that they did so, employees took multiple smoke breaks on the clock each shift, the door the employee break room that went outside didn’t have a way to lock so anyone could come in and it wasn’t in the best part of town.

It was a job

I couldn't trust the DON and the rumors that were spread were beyond belief. If you weren't a favorite then you had a target on your back no matter how well you did your job.
