great company

Thank you so much for the 5 star review! We aim to be a great company and are happy to hear you feel the same. Our benefits are pretty awesome and one of the many reasons people love working for us!

High paying high productivity

The money is great. The health insurance is very costly for families. TT is great and I've worked with them for 3 years; however, I'd really like to see them develop clinical programs like Aegis had when I worked for them.

The most horrible job I ever had -- RUN!

If you care about working for an ethical company, this is not the place for you. Truly, my life has been so much better since I left this company.

What does management care about?

Management truly cares about you as a person and not just an employee. They try to be flexible with schedule and work life balance. This company is growing and will have many more opportunities to offer.

Is tender touch losing?

Many SAR/LTC facilities are going in-house for physical therapy, meaning Tender Touch is losing facilities. If the facility offers you a position to work for them, you're more than welcome to... except Tender Touch will sue you for breaching their "non-compete" contract. Or, you stay with Tender Touch, get thrown around from building to building, and you don't get a floater's salary. The productivity standards are pretty ridiculous (90% every day) and since most treatments were in-room due to covid, it is very hard to meet those standards. Overall, I worked with a great group of therapists and I am extremely grateful for the friendships and experience I now have but the company is really tanking. I always felt like "today could be the day I get laid off or we lose our contract with the building." Very scary. Also they lied about tuition reimbursement so that was annoying. And everyone in the company got a pay cut as soon as I started working there. That was also very annoying.

Is pay rate better than PTA?

Pay rate is better than most positions as a PTA, but that's because the benefits such as PTO is not a lot or lack there of. No sick time or hoildays. Also would like have more opportunity for growth in the company. No incentive such as tuition reimbursement if going back to school etc.

Unrealistic Productivity

I am lucky to have had a good rehab director at my facility. However, Tender Touch as a company is out of touch with employee needs. Low pay, high productivity.

Difficult productivity standards & fluctuating case load

Productivity standards are difficult but manageable. Expect to cover at other facilities without being compensated or paid a higher "per diem" rate. Health and PTO benefits are good. Overall, OK work environment.

Kind staff and management

Make sure you compare compensation to other contractors in area before negotiating. A lot of autonomy which is great. Flexibility for making your own schedule.
