Learning experience of managing discipline for others

Day started with clocking in followed by quick meeting and greeting with residents. Organizing and supervision of residents' completion of ADLs was a daily routine. Counsel residents under my supervision. Evaluate residents’ performance progress and prepare weekly and monthly reports. Conducted daily meetings.

Terrible Management

Nurses from different shifts never helped each other out. Patients would continuously be out of medication‘s because no one wanted to refill them. When this would happen other nurses would borrow other patients medication just to give them a dose. If you report a mistake of a fellow coworker to your nursing supervisor just beware.

Excellent long-term treatment for mental patients

Did assessment and evaluation of the patients, also admissions and discharges, communicated with multidisciplinary team to provide good care of patients, worked as a Charge Nurse and House Supervisor.

Unprofessional in every aspect imaginable

If there was ever an example of profit over care, this hospital is it. Upper management, administration, and owners definitely make you feel less than. The opportunity for upward mobility in the company is based on favoritism, any attempts of employees trying to advocate for themselves are quickly dismissed, or threatened with termination.

Would love to work there again

Night shift for 4 years. I learned to work as a team member. I had to manage up to 3 CNAs and I myself was under the supevision of a charge RN.

Nice place to work

Nice place to work with friendly team members. Would work there up to now, but I went back to school full-time. I worked there as LVN/night shift. It included direct care for 33 psychiatric clients: continuous assessment administer meds, evaluation of clients progress, code situations, morning labs.
