"Tomorrow you can use, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING SOBER TOMORROW...but just don't use tonight. Can you do that? Can you just not use right now and wait until tomorrow?" In that moment I would take a deep breath and say "yeah, I CAN make it through tonight. And as you can image, this same quote was repeated the day after as well.
