Great supervisors and co-workers
Given list of patients to see. Work with my patients and other therapist to best help the patient return to a degree of prior level of function. Given enough time during the day to do notes.
A good place
Chester Valley is a nice place to work. The staff is excellent and knowledgeable. If I had not been wooed by a former director of nursing to work at her facility, I would still be at Chester Valley, now known as Green Meadows.
Stressful, disorganized, pass-the-buck mentality
Worked at Chester Valley Rehab after working in another rehab in Reading, Pa. This facility looked nice, but when I worked there, it was pretty disorganized and the management kept changing. It felt as though no one was willing to give their best and I felt as though I worked so hard but as soon as I left my shift, things went back to being a mess.
Great for experience building
Nice working environment. Built great experience here. Made great friends. Teamwork amongst front line staff is extraordinary. I was advanced to supervisor after a while. Benefits is horrible. I had to hawk my check to make sure it was correct all the time. Management was really bad at one point.
