Your day will be full here. Morning hours include wake-up, nursing services, breakfast, and your first group session begins at 9:00 a.m. Group sessions are held throughout the day with breaks in between. Lunch is served at noon and dinner at 5:00 p.m. each day.

Please note – since the implementation of COVID-19 precautions, family members are scheduled visits with their loved ones via Zoom. Upon admission, a Zoom family visit is scheduled.
What can I bring my loved one from home?
Patients may receive care packages, clothing, etc. These may be brought at scheduled family groups or may be dropped off at the facility. However, electronic devices (including cell phones) and outside food and drinks are NOT allowed.

Though rooms aren’t private, they are clean, comfortable and only shared with or two other clients. Since Mount Regis Center was originally a home, the rooms feel cozy and designed to make clients feel nurtured and welcome.
Treatment and Staff
The typical Mount Regis client is between 20 and 60. There’s a division specifically geared towards those between those between the ages of 18 and 25, which enhances the standard drug abuse treatment with team building and peer-based activities. Mount Regis also provides detox, if necessary, under the supervision of experienced doctors and nurses.

There is a fitness center on site and martial arts are also an option. MRC offers art programming, equine therapy and a ropes course, the latter usually designated for the young adult program.
