Do you have to be certified to be a vocational rehabilitation counselor?

Governmentally employed vocational rehabilitation counselors do not necessarily have to be certified , but they are required to meet educational requirements that are similar to those required for certification.

Is vocational counseling regulated?

Hey guys, this is completely my opinion and based on my experience, but wanted to open it up to other people's experiences as well. I know its been addressed here before, but its time for change.

Tinnitus ratings should pay more

Out of every disability rating I have the tinnitus is the only one I don’t get a break from. Body pain subsides with medications. Mental health ebbs and flows and sometimes responds to treatment. The tinnitus never ends. I feel like I have to constantly have any sort of noise playing (TV, music, podcast, white noise) to distract me from it.

I have always had a hard time with doctors or providers treating me poorly or ignoring concerns. I have noticed that if I bring a family member or my spouse to my physical or telehealth appointments, I get a much different experience. I am an Army veteran, 30yo with little kids. I used to drink HEAVILY. Now I have 2-3 shots of 90 proof liquor every single night. Id like to just quit for my health and for better sleep quality. I'm just looking for someone who drinks daily and is able to go sober now and safely.
