Hello everyone! I'm back to the forum as you can see....I've been away due to travels and my wedding in January! Ok, so I'm back, with bad news instead of good:- ( I purchased a new cage for my cockatiels (Charlie and Cocoa) last night. Unlike their other cage with all horizontal bars this one has two with horizontal and half with vertical.

I think my new cockatiel Cruiso has the same problem... I have no idea what happened but he won't grasp anything with his left foot. Other than that he seems perfectly fine. Sorry I can't help, I'm looking for an answer as well.

My cockatiel Rio recently flew into the wall super fast, at first I thought he had broken his neck and it scared the crap out of me...then I realized he was hobbling around and when I looked closer, he wasn't using his foot...I'm scared to lose him and I think hes hurt up in his ankle...he was eating and drinking water decently but only when I was petting him, and he only preened himself once for a few seconds around his hurt foot.
