There is a mandatory 30-day blackout period for all new clients. Some clients are required to do 45 days, but this is rare. During this time clients can only send and receive mail. No other contact with persons outside of the program is permitted.

The Na Kolea Transitional Housing program was established to go hand in hand with the on-going alcohol and drug treatment services that The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) provides . Individuals are housed in the community while participating in outpatient programming, seeking employment and eventually transitioning back into the community. Transitional Housing Program provides the following specific services basic case management, general skills building classes, housing placement and assistance with vocational support and encouragement to secure employment.

Duration of stay is variable and designed to meet the needs individualized needs of the individual.

What is outpatient rehab?

Outpatient programs are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare. Outpatient sessions are up to 8 hours weekly. A minimum of 12 weeks of continuing care is provided after completion of primary treatment.

62 hours sober afyer a year of heavy drinking at 18

I'm the dude who made a post the other day while I was hammered about being 18 and wanting to stop. Well I decided enough is enough and did it. Not had a drink in 3 days by the end of today. Pretty easy to be honest I was expecting worse.

Nearing the 36 Hour Mark Tonight at Midnight !

Once again, I've managed to stay sober for More than a day. if i can stick it out until tomorrow at Noon. I'll be 48 hours sober. So far, No Noticeable "Withdrawal" yet. No shakes, but I Feel slightly tired and bored, Mildly "Blah" and a bit Irritable, but I'm Okay. I've been keeping busy, I Ate some healthy food and i'm drinking water like a fish.

Today is day 4!

Small win but it’s probably the longest I’ve gone without alcohol for a few months now for me, and saying that just tells me how important it is to take back control of my life and drinking habits.

Feel so proud of myself

Been a month sober i know that's not a lot . But i am 29 male , and have been suffering with this disease since i was 16 . I've been tru hell and back.
