VR&E Process
The VR&E process is designed to assist Veterans with service-connected disabilities to obtain suitable employment and/or achieve independent living goals. It is comprised of several phases, involving tasks for both VR&E staff and Veterans to complete. Here is a general outline of the phases and tasks.

How to get a rehabilitation plan?
A rehabilitation plan is a written plan that outlines the resources we’ll use to help you find employment. Depending on your situation, your VRC will work with you to choose one of the following support-and-services tracks to help you find and keep a job, and live as independently as possible: 1 Reemployment with a former employer 2 Job placement and counseling services for new employment 3 Help with starting your own business 4 Long-term training or services to help you find work in a different field that better suits your abilities and interests 5 Independent living services if you can’t return to work right away

What is a job placement service?

What is VoC rehab?
Voc rehab, on the other hand, recognizes the physical and mental challenges invoked by the military. As opposed to the GI Bill, which is bestowed on you, voc rehab is an assistance program, thereby having different constraints.
Can I get GI Bill for higher education?
Your GI Bill is not the only way you can pay for higher education. Fortunately, with Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment), you can now receive benefits to pay for your education. Your eligibility depends on just two things; firstly, if you have a service-connected disability rating of at least 10% (“serious” employment handicap). Secondly, if you have a rating of over 20% (with employment handicap) and do not have a dishonorable discharge.
