Fun and busy

Very short staffed.. management could be better as in any place. Always room for improvement. Residents are wonderful! Staff is friendly, but you can tell they are over worked and tired.

Nice facility, respectful staff

Very nice place, homelike atmosphere, wonderful staff, nice management, willing to listen to concerns and ideas. Very clean. Enjoyable working environment.

Nope

Unless you like being treated subpar by your DON and overworked don't go here. The administrator is just as bad. They don't care, just say they do. They lie and play favorites. If you have to work for an HSI facility chose a different one.

Think twice

ZERO work/home balance. Scheduled for 7+ days straight and "mandated" to work til 2am, sometimes 6am..DON has 0 compassion, just someone has to stay figure it out. NO night shift, just girls working 12-16 hour shifts because the schedule is full of holes.

A fun place to work

We have a lot of fun here but we're also very very serious about the care of our residents who are like family to us. We usually have good teamwork going. But if you aren't gonna do your job and take care of our residents with care and compassion don't bother to show up.

Management is horrible

I have been a CNA for almost 20 years. I worked at this facility for 2 years. I loved my coworkers and my residents.

Great job environment

Taking care of residents could get pretty stressful at times. I learned that every resident has their own way they want things done. My favorite part was always working on the dementia unit because you were never handling the same situation.
