What is inpatient rehab?

Inpatient rehabilitation is typically recommended for people who have complex medical conditions where they are recovering from a serious injury or a stroke and would benefit from a multidisciplinary approach. Inpatient rehab physical means that the patient sleeps at the hospital or an inpatient rehab facility due to the severity of the injury. During their stay, the patient receives treatment from medical practitioners for several hours a day. It’s ideal for people who have experienced a serious medical event and require inpatient rehab physical therapy before transitioning back to life at home.

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people who are experiencing difficulty in day-to-day activities due to injury, illness, or disability. This includes occupational therapy for the elderly.
