All items authorized on the 28-1905 form, including tuition/fees (T&F) and books/supplies (B&S), should be itemized on the invoice provided to VR&E. For schools who own or have business agreements with campus bookstores, the school needs to develop an internal protocol for the school VA certifying official to notify the school bookstore that B&S have been authorized and for obtaining itemized receipts for the B&S purchased.
Can you deduct CH 33 from CH 31?
