How many visitors are allowed in the prison in 2021?

Beginning June 5, 2021, in person visiting will consist of a two hour visit for two additional adult or minor visitors (age 2 and above), for a total of three approved visitors, per inmate for contact and non-contact visiting appointments. Vending machines will be available.

How long are in-person visits in the prison?

In-person visiting sessions will be in 2-hour increments with 30 minutes in between sessions to disinfect visiting areas. 3 approved visitors will be allowed per inmate, no minors under 2 years of age will be allowed at this time. Face masks are required.

To continue prioritizing the safety of our patients, associates, physicians, and communities, MedStar Health implemented a three-tier Visitor and Patient Support Persons Policy that allows for adjustments based on the number of COVID-19 cases in the community, according to state and county public health data.

Visitors to Ambulatory Locations

One visitor may accompany a patient during an ambulatory visit (i.e., urgent care), procedure or same-day surgery, subject to space and physical distancing requirements; siblings or others are strongly discouraged.

The Americans With Disabilities Act defines a person with a disability as a person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activity.
